If there was an ingredient in the refrigerator that promised moisture, strength, or growth, chances are Michael had already researched it, tested it, and found a way to make it work.

At just 14 years old, while many teenagers were looking for part-time jobs, Michael was encouraged to build something of her own. What started as a love for beauty quickly evolved into a thriving business. With the support of her loving grandmother and family, she began selling beauty products, hair extensions, wigs, lashes, accessories, apparel, and beauty essentials throughout her community — long before becoming a licensed stylist.

Michael pursued apprenticeships in both Ohio and Georgia, training under accomplished salon professionals and developing a deep appreciation for healthy hair care, protective styling, and educating women on how to maintain beautiful, thriving hair beneath every style. Just before graduating high school, she earned her Natural Hair Stylist License — transforming years of passion, preparation, and entrepreneurship into a professional career.

Today, Beauty By Michael serves clients throughout Ohio and beyond, specializing in luxury extensions, custom wigs, protective styles, silk presses, braids, twists, and personalized healthy hair journeys designed to help women achieve beauty without compromising the health of their natural hair.
